I adjust it up a bit when I start it and down as it warms up. No throttle cam on the choke on my K1 that I can see, thought it was odd but I guess they didn't put them on the earlier bikes. I always kick start too, make fun of the guys at work who have starters, tell 'em real bikes have kick starts.
