81 cb750 coils on a 74?

Is there any reason why I shouldn't use a set of coils off of an 81 cb750 for my 74 cb750? I noticed with the newer coils that the plug wires are alot easier to change...

Verify that the newer coils have comparable resistance across the primary leads, If they're the same go for it, if they're very different... like stock being 5 ohms and the others being like 4 or 3...I'd ask that question or run a search in that case.
