Any MOTOGP fans on here?

Gotta be a few! Motogp or WSBK? I've seen a few Australian members so being from Doohan country you gotta like GP.

Speaking of which, that race from Spain ended with a little excitement.

I think most Aussie riders are into one or the other, i prefer superbikes but the moto GP has been producing some very close and exciting racing lately, last night for instance... ;D

Yeah, superbikes great. Good to see Spies doing good. It would be exciting to see Bayliss in there still!

Bayliss is a freak, he could have been doing amazing stuff on the world scene 20 years ago. As far as an international career goes he was a very late starter........better late than never.... ;D  There are heaps of great riders in OZ but our distance from Europe, the US, and the UK, make it a very expensive proposition to be seen internationally.

Actually for all Europeans, there are no other races than MotoGP and WSBK, so yes. there must be plenty fans here. After all, what other serious track races series are there? I heard something about AMA, but no riders from this series are competing successfully in any world series, except now Spies.

motogp fan here in the us. is not big at all in my age group over here. (im 22). I would say it would pretty hard to find someone off the street my age who could come up with a single moto racer's name.

i havent had a chance to watch much wsbk but follow motogp closely. motogp and wrc are 2 motorsports i follow closest.

I watch MotoGP when I can on Sundays.  The coverage is poor from the Speed Channel, well I want more of it I should say.

The battle this week between Rossi and Lorenzo was stunning!

Best last laps I've seen in a long time

Enjoyed the race from Spain this week.  The last lap was epic.  You know Rossi will always win in that situation, it's just a matter of how.  He can place the motorcycle through the smallest opening on worn tires at the end of a race like nobody else.  We're all fortunate to witness one of the greatest ever ride.

In WSBK, Ben Spies has a little Rossi in him also.  Many racers get fast with practice and study, but there are some born with a natural ability.  It just seems to come easier to guys like that.  Anthony Gobert had it too, but lacked the discipline to stay focused on riding.  Spies is very special.  He's got the drive and the talent.  It's amazing that we've come to expect him to win this season even though he's never seen the tracks, bikes or tires he's riding on before this year.

Absolutely a MotoGP fan. Have been watching F1 for many years but I just started watching MotoGP for the past 5 years. For me, MotoGP is the best racing in the world.
In that clip from Italian tv, I think those announcers make it that much more exciting. I can pick up a few words, but they speak pretty fast.
Attenzione, Attenzione!
And I just love listening to Rossi's post race interviews. Great stuff.

The IoM is awesome. Sucks you never see coverage of it here in the states. They used to cover it, or at least highlight it, but not anymore that I see. THey should cover it start to finish like the LeMans! I think the last time I remember seeing anything on it Jeffries was the man. Grande Ballz!

Im 35 & dont know anyone that watches it here. I can usually get someone at work to watch a race but not like me. Its like my football Sunday for the summer! A perfect Sunday is 2 WSBK races & then the 250 & 500 MotoGPS! On a really lucky day maybe some AMA on a little earlier & some cold Sams in fridge.

Dave Jeffries died racing on the IoM TT course.....yes the man had big ballz! .......not sure about Rossi tho ;) I would not do the speeds the riders do around the course so I don't blame the doctor for doing a parade lap.

"there are good riders and old riders. there aren't good, old riders".
Hold on there, just think WHY in the old days Agostini and others finally pulled off IoM? because that was not war, and they were not soldiers, and they wanted to go back home in one piece. It is SPORT, not a life/death thing. As much as IoM is exciting and probably much more demanding ballz-wise, there still weren't a season of IoM WITHOUT a death on the course. I for one, am NOT ready to DIE for my hobby. For my family, or maybe even country - yes, but for hobby?
So, great race, but don't try to compare MotoGP riders with TT riders (and some Irish ones are said to be even tougher than IoM).

I love the moto GP.

That race in spain was crazy. Rossi just makes his own line and hits that straight away and wins, pure awesome. Lorenzo had to be crapping himself. "WHAT THE #$%* WAS THAT?!?!". Oh man.. haha.
