cb360 clutch

When I pull the lever it acts like I'm not pulling it in.  Any info please?

Check cable first.  Some years 360 was said to have a weak plunger rod.

cable is good I have an extra engine I can try changing the pushrod????

Pull off the left cover and see what it looks like.  One of the two things I dont like on the 360 is how the clutch works but I'm used to mine now so it dont bother me as much anymore.

There is a cam on the left side that rotates and pushes a rod through the engine to seperate the clutch plates. It takes up slack backwards, meaning you turn it out to close the gap.( the screw is captive so instead of backing out, it rides inward and the 'nut' stays put on the inside of the housing.) I'd be checking that before tearing into the clutch!

It's easy to mess it up since it works backwards of logical thinking!

i am having the same issue with the 360 i just bought . i will be looking into the cam adjusting nut in the morning and the pulling the clutch if it doesent work out .
