1973 CB750 HEADLIGHT QUESTION

Hi All,

Quick Q,does the headlight get power(come on)when the key is on or only when the bike is running?I am rewiring and having problems with the headlight....................... ???

I believe it come on when key is on AND Left side(handlebar) switch for light is at ON.
