cb750K Japanese import Vin number
« on: June 20, 2009, 11:27:51 PM »
hey everyone,
New to the forum but have owned several cb750k's of the years.  Just got a new one the other day and I'm wondering if anyone knows much about this VIN number.  I'm guessing its a K0 but I'm not sure.  It was a Japanese sold bike and brought back to the states from its original owner while still in the service.

frame VIN is etched into the frame as
1041397

any ideas?

It's a K1, according to my book....it may be a K0/K1 'hybrid' like my 8/70 K1..still had the vented side covers but the 2 cable throttle...and a black airbox...any help ?.
104xxxx signifies K1, but only after # 104..4, so 104..1 may be like above.....
If your sure it's a carb problem; it's ignition,
If your sure it's an ignition problem; it's carbs....

According to the sohc4 website you have a K0.  K1 starts at 1044650.
