Im getting a lot of mixed reviews and found you guys to always be good on clarifying things for me so here I am.  ;)

Well Im working on a 550/650 Hybrid conversion and was told to go with the earlier CB750 Carbs. Others said that the CB650sc carbs are just as good and there no point in spending more money on buying another set. Also Im assuming the newer years have acclerator pumps??? Whats the advantages on these? Well with that said and done I have a set of 1973 CB550 Carbs, 1970 CB750 Carbs and 1982 CB650 Carbs.

What would you recommend and why?  ???

I do believe the 82 650 carbs are CV carbs. I'm not a big fan of those....
The 70 750 carbs are a breeze to work on, and much easier to jet, in my opinion.

Are you using the 650 head? I can't remember (been dealing with way too many other kinds of bikes), but isn't the spacing different on the 650 heads that use the CV carbs? Someone will know and pipe up about it.
No.
