Tune Of The Day
« on: July 09, 2009, 08:57:14 PM »
Was just looking at some cool music vids and thought,  because there a lot of muso's on here and music and bikes go hand in hand, i would like to see and hear what you are all into.
So hear is a cool tune from Zakk Wylde and Black label Society just to kick things off.

I don't know exactly why I like these in guys in Rancid so much, but the music is just raw enough to appeal to me.  I also Like Billy Bragg so here is Rancid covering Billy...

I love the guitar tone in that one TT, kinda reminds me of a heavier version of evanescence.

Yes TT i am a self confessed LP nut and proud of it... ;)
In your "sound" description you forgot "thump". I love a really tight but full bottom end for those stops and muted sections, if they are not thumping then its just not happening.
I think Orianthi is a great guitar player, although nothing like my style i think you can clearly see that she has great "feel", The first time i saw her she was about 12 and very good then as well, she's only 19 now......not to shabby eh..
I was never a fan of those "2" types of music either, "country" and "western"  ;D...too twangy for me, now good blues is a totally different thing and great to learn as well as i believe its the best place to start to establish "feel"...

The sound quality on this is a little on the crappy side, but I can't get this song out of my head lately.
