I sold my cb550 a couple years ago and am now in the process of getting a 76 cb400ss.
What are the major differences between the 2 besides the cc and downtubes of the frame?
Enough time has passed for me to forget all the negatives of owning these old bikes. (like taking the valve covers off to look see then bending the valves on reassembly, leading to head removal attempt where the cylinders came off leading to engine removal and a fight w/ the camshaft chain and it's tensioners...etc.)
I want to use the 400 for day ride sorties into the curvies.
Anything specific I need to watch out for?
I have searched cb400 and am in the process of reading all the results.
