going to hijack your thread for a moment, please forgive the offense.

i'd like to know more about this cometic gasket. what bike do you have? i looked through their catalogue and didn't see anything appropriate for a '78 750F - but i would like to get a head gasket of higher quality than what i think you get with an athena of vesrah kit.

i'd love to have some more information about the cometic gaskets - what material is the one you got? price?

seriously, mums coming on thursday and i have to get this thing together. maybe i'll use it as a candle holder and serve dinner around it. at least it will be a talking point!
it's a cb750k2 with a wiseco 836 kit. you have to get a bigger head gasket anyway, so cometic it was. got it from serco in brisbane.
i'm after the tricks to bolt it up OILTIGHT!!!!!!!!!!! is it even possible? the last 2 times i have freshen this motor up, i always had the annoying weep from the cyl/head in the center.
is there any magical sealant to apply to the rubber washers etc?
