For that price are they rebuildable is the question.
If not, you can get aluminum body Koni's for $425.

Can't see the pic. do you have a link?

From the description though I'd say you need to talk to MRieck, I think he has those on the Million-Dollar CB.

Koni have stopped producing ages ago, but even IKON who took over the production make only the steel body nowadays (I think...)

Gazi shocks would be half that price and looks just as good (again, just an opinion)

$459???  that link shows $179 and $89.

Those aren't close to the type I was thinking of though.

You have to click on the "Stereo Gas Shocks" link under the picture of the cheap shocks, than "Gas Emulsion Shocks" under that. It's one of those pages I can't seem to link directly too.

I figure that with all the time and money I have been putting into this bike, I should at least put some good shocks on. I mean, I could just go with some progressives, but I really don't gain much over stock. And of the whole point of grafting on a more modern front end was to improve suspension, then why leave part of it mostly stock?

Works shocks are about the same price. I don't know if one is better than the other, though. I'll be running works on the 350t racebke, but only because they make ones that weigh like half as much.
No.

I have those same shocks on my 550. Stiff shocks, even with giving my weight & riding style (sport street, not track).
I backed off on the rebound (no compression) and they return easier instead of staying packed down.
They are excellent on smooth roads and I have done some 80+ sweepers.
I do have some room to back off on preload, which comes next (ride height wise I'm trying to keep the rear jacked up, although my 4 into 4 setup won't allow me to lengthen my shocks).
The ride height adjustment gives you the ability to lengthen by 10mm - nice feature.
I'd say go for the YSS shocks, and Klaus has them in stock - got 'em in a week...

Nope, just bought some aluminum body IKONS from the USA distributor near San Francisco. They are nice.

I've got a set of YSS Bravo shocks on my F2.  I know they are different to what you're looking at but I wouldn't go there again.  First set too long, second set too hard, third set softer but haven't taken it out for a big test ride so can't comment that accurately yet.
