There was a
build thread I started, but I got lazy about updating it so it fizzled out pretty quickly. It's not worth looking for.
All the
polishing was done with a lot of patience with wet sanding (400, 600, 800, 1500 grit) followed by a 1hp 8" buffer and white rouge. The finish is currently protected with "Maas Metal Protector" per another user's enthusiastic post on this forum. Out of everything I did, this took the longest and was the most rewarding. It really takes the bike's appearance to the next level. I even have the breather cover polished.
The tires are: Yeah, I don't remember. PM me if you actually want me to go out there and look it up.
Yes, I need
mirrors. Well, I have mirrors, but they're assy plastic and totally ruin the look of the bike. That's on the 'to do' list. In fact, everything attached to the handlebars, as well as the headlight, still need some attention.

The exhaust pipes came from 736cc on this forum. He was not lying when he said they were "mint". Thanks again!
Now I just have to get it tuned right. I've got some backfiring on decel and it doesn't want to go over 6k under load. I hope to get that knocked out by this weekend. And, after that, it's time to start on my next project:
