hi
I bought myself a Honda 650 Nighthawk 1983 and I want to change the hydralic clutch oil. I think I know how to do that, but I dont now how to remove the the plastic cover (se picture). I gues it is only to pull it of, but I want to be sure before doing so (if I brake it, it is really hard to find a new one - I live in sweden, this bike did only sell a 1000 in sweden and only in 1983).

The lower front corner has a pin that is holding the cover in place in the grommet, #1.
Carefully heat the area around the cover with a hairdryer or a heat gun on very low(electric), to soften the rubber grommet, spray a little silicone grease in the grommet to help the pin slide out and back in. Carefully pull the pin out. I haven't removed a cover from the 650 but there are probably a couple of hooks on the rear end of the cover to hold the back end in place so be careful.

Go to the new members section and introduce yourself and your bike.
