If you go through the thread link i gave you to the Boldor forum you will see what they did, from memory it went between the fins on the backside of the engine under the carbs.
Could you use the GSXR injection harness? thats what i would do and plumb it into the Honda harness?
Are you going to fit an Oxygen sensor as well?
I read somewhere that the 2002-2003 Gsxr600 TB's fitted our manifolds, i'll see if i can find the info.

I watched a show a while back, I think it was that lowrider show. anyway, they were building those 100 spoke wheels popular with the lowrider crowd. they sealed the nipples with some sort of rubber compound.Basically covered the whole area where the rim strip resides. I assume they did this to allow the use of conventional tires w/o tubes. might work, but who knows?

you are right that i propably got the wrong manifold... the GSXR600K7 one i got is 40 mm.. which is on the silly side of things for an 1071cc SOHC motor witeven with a 300 deg cam.... but I'm not about to buy another before i definitely rule out that it is a no-go to fit this one... With regards to the temp gauge i guess i was trying to draw on some more experience than the on thread... but you are right that if they have something that works.... then why not just use that??

that's neat bkat! i just did a search on that and it looks like vdo and auto-meter are two brands who make the thing. wonder if it's good for the sohc/4.  ???

no no, just the one... i just need a good engine temp reading to determine cold start enrichments.. there is only one temp input in the microsquirt.. its not for a temp gauge, just for the fuelinjection

Thanks.. i am a bit worried about the amp draw as well... but replacing all lights with LED and as you posted a HID headlight should free up almost as many amps as the microsquirt draws... the HID running light is only 30watts.. my biggest concern is the amperage that the fuelpump will draw. the microsquirt supposedly only draws 5 amps..

Hey Deuce-

     Awesome build.

     I sealed my rims to run tubeless tires.

     I covered the spoke nipple ends with squares of plastic tape, then sealed the rim with marine GOOP.  If you're not familiar with it, you can find it with the glues and sealants at a hardware store.  It comes in home/garden grade, household, and marine versions.  If you know what a rim strip looks like on a bicycle of motorcycle, that's about what I covered on the rim with the goop.  Run an internet search and you can find a how-to.  It's pretty straightforward.

Wow, those are some pretty pieces, do you have a link for where you got them? I'll be needing a nice set of rear sets for my 78f.

He had the adjustable ones up last night but I can't seem to find them now. Auction might have ended. Seems like a real good deal though. Any words on build quality, deuce?
