I noticed in another thread the mention of the lack of volume
from the standard 750 horn.  I solved that problem many years ago
by installing a pair of boat horns from Sears.  They come with a
small 12 volt air compressor that mounts neatly to the bottom
of the battery box.  It gets power through a relay so the horn
button is spared the high current.

When you hit these babies they look around for the semi...

If you look closely you can see the horns mounted on the crash
bar.

That's usually one of the first things I do when I get a new bike.  I've got a pair of "freeway blaster" horns on the 750, they're the regular electric type so no compressor, but still very LOUD!

Me too, on everything I ride on the street.  I run a BIG wire from the battery through a horn relay (& fuse) to a pair of 104db horns and control the relay with the horn button.  Makes 'em even louder.......
