Billet rear hub for GS1150
« on: September 16, 2009, 08:04:05 PM »
On my '84 Suzuki 1150 Dragbike the stock hub( wheel from a Gsxr-1100 '86 or '87 ) could not take the hard launches I was giving it. Cracks would show up again ( machined once before).

754 machined this nice piece for me.

Nice parts,
 Nice bike too.
I likes the GSX1100/1150 (as far as I know, all the 16valve motors were GSX, except in USA where it was GS ?)
 Is it still 1150?

Yes it is a GS1150EF.
The stock back wheel on the GS1150 is 17 x 3.00 which you can not run a slick, so using a later wheel off a GSX ( 18 x 4.00 ) allows me to run a slick.

And it looks close to the original mag.

The engine is still a 1150 with a ported head and better valve springs and retainers.

I also run a Barnet clutch and do manual shifting.
