74 CB350F Cam Chain Tensioner
« on: September 29, 2009, 06:41:14 PM »
Rookie wrench question: I saw the FAQ section for how to get the cam chain to adjust.  It mentions a cap bolt that needs to be removed to gently push the mechanism with a Phillips screwdriver. I have a bolt about 1-1/2" above the adjuster bolt and locknut assembly, sort of behind the frame/engine attachment point.  Is this the cap? Any help is much appreciated.

From what you describe I think that's it.  Prepare for 3rd degree burns if you do it while it's running...
