If you and the buyer are both happy with whatever price you choose, then it's not out of line.

Depends on the condition of the base.

A couple of weeks ago, I've bought the same seat (550 F) in nearly new condition - no rust at all - for €150 ($210) from a German Honda dealer.
It had been sitting in the shelf since the 70s when he swapped it for a Guliari seat on a new bike he sold back then.

So I was really lucky but I would not spend more than $200 for a used seat in good condition.

Its worth whatever somebody will give you.  If you ask too much nobody will buy it. It really depends on what you want.

Barring dealer markup which may be as much as 100%, it would be worth no more than $100 to me IF I needed it.

I have purchased numerous seats in good condition for various models.  Anything less than $100 is considered a deal. Anything more than $150 starts me looking at a new seat cover and some hard labor.

So there you have it.  Somewhere between $35 and $400.  I hope we've helped. ;D

$3.50.  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

got mine for around 75 bucks plus shipping, spent around 100 bucks total on it.  Well worth the price.
