Quick Newbie Question

Hey All,

I did check the FAQ and couldnt find a straight answer, so.... here goes.  On a 79 CB650 is the electrical system a 12V?  Thanks Chris. ???

Yep.

And the reason you couldn't find it in the Frequently Asked Questions,  is because I'm pretty sure it's never been asked before. :D ;)

Probably 12,...just count the number of cells in the battery.

3=6v  6= 12v easy ;D

The Japs stopped making 6v systems in the early 80's.  I had a CB125S with 6v and (trust me) it sucks.

The CG125 I bought for my son (1993) was 12v, bliss...

There never was a four with 6v - think of the amps...
