Float Bowl drain plug orings
« on: October 05, 2009, 12:42:42 PM »
Anyone know where I can find o-rings, or replacement drain plugs for my carbs?  The ol' 350 is dripping a little on occasion and I have a feeling the old rubber is done for.

Go to the local autoparts store and pick up an o-ring assortment pack for less than $3.00. The one you need will be in it. Honda will not order just the o-ring you have to buy the whole carb kit. At least my local honda dealer said that. I just had the same problem.

I found O rings in, of all places, the plumbing department of my local hardware store. There are a lot of different ones for faucets and things.

Hmm.  Maybe I'll check out the hardware store.  I don't care where it came from as long as it stops the leaks.
