« on: October 23, 2009, 10:03:29 PM »
HELLO GUYS
new member here.
I signed up while back but didn't know we had this forum.

I've been looking for a 550 for about a month now.
Just can't find any good deal in CA.

I know this site will help me big time one day.

Ride safe!

Word of mouth is a powerful thing. Ask everyone and their mother if they have any old motorcycles sitting around. So many of these bikes were made someone is bound to have one.
   This pretty much sums it up.   76' CB592 cafe. 69 750 project, 03 CBR954, 75 750 super sport.

Welcome to the forum
It can take time to find bikes.  It took me three years to find my 550's.  In the mean time I found a 86 GIXXER and made that a daily runner.  Be patient, you may find junk bike cheap for parts, before you find what you want.
Good luck and have fun!

you might want to try contacting steve "carpy" carpenter http://www.cb750cafe.com/carpy.php  . he's a well known honda four guru in southern california and he might be able to help you find a bike. check craigslist or even e-bay (i built my cb750 k4 about 80% of it coming from ebay purchases) and of course we have more than a few members right here in california who may be able to help you find what youre looking for.
