SOHC4 Google Wave
« on: October 25, 2009, 06:06:56 PM »
I've been on Google wave for a few weeks now as part of the preview and tonight searched for CB750.

Lo and behold there was no Wave mentioning the CB750, so I had to give a shout out to the bike that changed my motorcycling life.

Anyone else Waving can just do a quick search for CB750.

You must be old.
As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)

Gordon,

You must be old.

I was old before my time.  I'm just waiting to finally catch up! ;D

P.S.  You bought your 750F before I was born... :)

Edit:  Okay, that was mean-spirited.  Yesterday I was 24 and didn't have a care in the world.  I know how quickly it all goes by! ;D

You crack me up Rx!

Wave will be a killer app here at work.  I'm looking forward to being able to unleash its power!

I don't know what this is, either.  And Gordon is young enough to be our oldest kid (well, 2 years off).

I wouldn't really call Wave a social networking app.

Personally I think of it as a productivity/communication app that would greatly simplify communications around a project or community of practice.

For the programs and projects I manage at work it will be awesome.  A one click resource for all instant message, email, files, videos, and flash animations.

Thanks for the clarification. Having read this, it reminds me of a news article I just read this A.M. about some researchers who had been granted $12 million+ to develop something that would allow other researchers to find and collaborate with one another. Sounds like Google's already done it. Maybe we should ask for our tax $$'s back.  :'(

Looks pretty good for project documentation and evaluation, how secure is it?

Yes, the first project of that kind is known as the Internet.

I think we all started to fall out of place right after leaving high-school.  That's even if you felt in place during that time.

No, this one sounds like it could actually be useful. Sounds more like a business app or something useful for collaborations.

I think it's most powerful use will be within businesses, organizations, and schools.

My company is an enterprise customer of Google's so we have a locked down domain authentication which makes this secure for us.
