I wouldn't really call Wave a social networking app.Personally I think of it as a productivity/communication app that would greatly simplify communications around a project or community of practice.For the programs and projects I manage at work it will be awesome. Having read this, it reminds me of a news article I just read this A.M. about some researchers who had been granted $12 million+ to develop something that would allow other researchers to find and collaborate with one another. Sounds like Google's already done it. Maybe we should ask for our tax $$'s back.
