Been awhile since I started, but been busy with school and trying to get the bike running.  These are the first few pics from back when I got the bike in January.

Valve cover off, starting engine teardown.  Previous owner said it ran, but hasn't been touched since maybe '89?  So I didn't really take any chances.



Cam and mounts out, not beat up, everything is just really dirty.



Partially cleaned up for storage



Sorting and storage system.  All engine parts in a bin in sample bags with labeling.

Took awhile for me to decide (back in spring when I actually had to make that call) but I decided I wanted to do a cafe.  For now I have a re-foamed/re-covered stock seatpan and stock tank.  Might go for custom tank/seat combo later but I'm anxious to ride.
