yeah, no carbs either. I'll pass, got two projects sitting right now. Would like to dig into one of those 450's someday, look like cool little bikes.
I wouldn't pay any more than $100, those things come along fairly regularly in nice shape for $500 or less.Hi Johnie I put a lot of miles on my 1970 CB450 in the seventies. Longest single day was over 700 miles. This year my main motorcycle has been my avatar. The more I ride it the more I miss my CB450. TomC in Ohio
Hi Zoo Mob $100 would be fair if it has a clean title.Quote from: zoo mob on November 09, 2009, 02:56:20 PMI wouldn't pay any more than $100, those things come along fairly regularly in nice shape for $500 or less.Hi Johnie I put a lot of miles on my 1970 CB450 in the seventies. I had a new 1973 CB450 for a few months. The vibes were so bad at highway speeds that my hands would fall asleep. The good thing about that was in 3 months I traded for a new 750.
Hi Johnie "If you are looking for one for the nostalgia of owning another go for it. However, I think I would look for something a bit better." The CB450 is a been there done that as far as I am concerned. I think that the CB750F1 will be soon. Then I will fix the CB400F1. TomC in Ohio
