After Market Parts Gallery!! Post That Non-Stock Nuance!
« on: November 09, 2009, 05:30:29 PM »
Just thought I would give this a try to see if it takes off! I will not be restoring my bike to its original condition, but instead will be adding as many new upgrades as possible. This post is for those doing the same. Post away, if not....the post dies. ;D

I pick up my 75f in the morning, I'm thinking triple drilled discs and clip-ons I ain't gonna cut it up  but I wanna have some bolt on fun with this one. It will soothe my guilt about the wrecked one I did cut up.  My K0 will go more original (appearing) and my K0 chopper moves back to third project.

I am still in the process of getting parts together and am in no hurry to finish it but my K2 will have modified GSXR suspension, 3 spoke mag wheels,1000cc piston kit with a billet block, Barnett clutch, back cut gears, heavy duty chains, ported head with bigger valves {and everything that goes into the head will be Hi Po}, electronic ignition, triple discs {GSXR} and fuel injection. The bike will still look like a K2 but will have a pile of modern upgrades.
I have 2 other parts bikes, one "F" and another "K", The "F" will end up a parts bin special and the "K" will be a rigid of some sort, in the style of an old Indian i have pics of. That lot should keep be busy for a while.... ;D

Here’s mine. There's more custom parts than aftermarket parts, though.

1974 CB 750 with Dunstall bodywork and fairing,  Dunstall 4 into 2 exhaust.
’75 GL front end, air caps, 330mm discs, 6 piston calipers, Raask adj clubman bars, Steering damper, 19 inch Alloy shouldered rim.
A front hub laced to an 18 inch alloy shouldered rim and converted for rear wheel use/disc brake application, 296mm disc, 2 piston caliper, Hurst rear master cylinder, Aluminum Bodied Koni shocks. Dunstall rear set plates with John Tickle pegs and levers. Galfer Braided brakes lines.
Hydraulic clutch, Weber DCOE 40 carbs, CR Style oil cooler.
As far as I know the engine internals are stock. I have a 900cc kit, aluminum rods and a CR(Web) cam to put in it when I get around to it. The Hyd clutch will also have the line repositioned to come out of the clutch cover where the cable originally was (and a new cover put on). I’ll probably update other stuff in the engine when I am at it also.
The pic of the bike is an old one(about 2 yrs old). The front discs have been changed from 310mm to 330mm and the rear disc has been changed to a different pattern.
