Likely will NOT have an SOHC at this race but i'm still willing to put my money into the pot for the MOST ROUNDS WON between the Sam Green Racing Team.

FRANK or ALL :  ROBINSON INDUSTRIES     631-360-9219  ST.JAMES NY. Maybe can make a super hard 2nd. gear ????? = makes many trannys for high powered DRAG BIKES ..... Call and ask about your SOHC HONDA'S GEAR SYSTEM.  Might cost a few bucks, but break those cases with a broken tranny and you lose. If Bill has a street tire then his second gear will last a little longer = until they spray the track with VHT and burn it in with a track dryer . Norwalk Track in OHIO track is so sticky you better be on your toes, broke 1st gear one time and 2nd gear another time on my ZIR-KZ with a slick.

Yeap, right now Robinson is the main supplier of billet gears although there are others. Bought a billet split gear (4th) for my GPZ 1-2-3 auto transmission from him last season and a billet low ratio first gear for my ZX10. Bottom line, you've got to pay the cost to be the boss.

How about something like the gear on the left? ;)

A bloke down in Melbourne used to make these for us from billet.

He didn't have the data to cut anymore so we have recently sent down one of our gear sets for him to copy.

I've never managed to break one of these gears and believe me it wasn't for the want of trying. :)

They don't require any mods to install.

Hopefully I will be able to supply these HD gear sets shortly.

Cheers,
Brian

I will NOT be able to play with the band on this set. Other priorities have arisen. I do hope to make the Commerce race with my SOHC prepped and ready to sing.

Good luck fellas- wish i could be there with you guys. I'll be checking in via phone from time to time - if Bill will answer my calls. Lol.

Thanks for all the good wishes guys, we hope to leave between mid day and 3 eastern time.
Google says just over seven and a half hours traveling so we will find somewhere to eat when we get there then straight to bed.
Should be at the track Friday morning about 9am.
