So I bought a hondamatic engine and frame that came with a spare f-2 engine for 300 bucks. tore out the hondamatic, put in the f-2 engine and when i kicked it over no compression..... tore it back out, opened it up to find a lack of pistons, bent valves, so just a ton of fun and excitement was just screaming out of me.....so the engine build is on hold off for a bit until i can afford it.
Put on extended forks, raked it and put on a TC brothers hard tail section on (pictures to come)
So my question is, has anyone ever bought the 836 top end kit from cyclexchange? I am curious if anyone knows the HP gain from doin valves, pistons, cam, etc.
Also, anyone want a hondamatic engine to help pay for my build?
