I have lots of footage from when my mate and myself were racing in the 60s. He had it all on cine film.
Some years ago he transfered it onto VHS video and its all on DVD now, did it all himself for nowt.

Sam. ;)
Any chance to see this footage Sam?  ;)

Simon.. received the disc yesterday.... Thanks a bunch, really looking forward to see it tonight with a cold beer ;D ;D

The high of the brackets I could use, I borrowed a rear swinger from a friend which I will mount tomorrow and see if that lines up. (hopefully it does, or my frame might be bended ??? :-\)

I had a letter from Dr David Stevens of the Isle of Man Motorsport Medical Services team today. He wanted to pass on his thanks to those of you on this forum who have made a donation to the Rob Vine fund in exchange for this Daytona DVD. With the TT races coming up for 2010 very soon, it's probably a good time to reflect on the fact that MMS is totally funded through donations such as ours and there are 22 unpaid volunteers who crew the ambulances and helicopters that make sure that any of the worlds top road racers who are injured, are cared for in the best and fastest way possible. Each of the 100+ marshalling points around the 37 miles of the TT course has an orthopaedic stretcher, emergency medical care equipment and head rests all provided by the Rob Vine fund. It's a massive challenge to fund this every year and every penny counts.

Thanks very much fellow SOHCers for your donations so far  ;)

Are you able to email a digital version, or to upload the DVD and then send a link to where it is stored?  Since it is digital now, it should be easy enough to send over the internet.  a reasonable copy of a DVD is less than a gig of memory.  It would be rad for you to be able to send the files for free over the net instead of postage mail.

peace and grease,
