So the beater subaru is one heck of a utility vehicle.  ;D

But next year I may look for a snowmobile.

I have plans for a roll cage, rally suspension, wrx engine....  ;D ;D ;D
but it all takes bucks and the other irons in the fire take first place over the beater.

do the horses chase the hay vehicle down like mine always did? man, when i think about that big damn SOB chasing me down while i was driving a small 4 wheeler with hay on the rear rack, he could have ran my ass down and never known it. RM i need that car  ;D

Why not put a roof rack on it? It would be easier and you would not
have to vacumn out the truck every time.

as soon as one turns up in the junk yard I'm on it. I checked a while back and the new rack would have
cost me more than the car.  ;D Besides the hay soaks up all the chainsaw oil and what not that leaks
out of the saws hauled in the trunk.  ;D ;D

oh yea, that's why I haul it to one side of the fence then walk it out in the pasture for them.  ;)

With a roof rack you can just pull up to the fence and shove them off, eh?

Awesome!  I've got a 97 outback wagon, and if it ever dies or I give up on it, I'm going to get another 90s subaru.  They're very common in the northeast, and the 90s models, especially those with 2.2l engines, are very tough cars and can be kept alive for very little money.
Mine's a workhorse too.  I often joke to my gf that my wagon hauls more than 90% of shiny, expensive pickups around here.
