Best place to get a cb750F cafe style seat and cowl?
« on: February 20, 2010, 03:14:13 PM »
I am barely beginning my cafe project. Im sure i am going to need alot of help, but since its my first build I bought a pretty cherry '78 cb750F. I actually feel kind of bad about modifying it but it is what it is.

I am looking for some ideas for a seat. Does anyone know where i can get prefab seat sets? Or have a good website to possibly modily/build my own?

Not sure if these seats will fit your 78.

Giuliari made a seat for the F. I have one in white vinyl. Saving it for when I might have an F someday. I tried finding a picture but didn't have any luck. Plops right on using stock hinges.

So it looks like this but white?
If so and if it'll fit a 78'F  I'd be happy to make you an offer you cant refuse for it!
It'd look great with my chrome tank and white walls.

I found this thread cause i'm sick of my stock seat but i also dont want to give up my storage compartment.
Is there a cafe style alternative to merge both?

Nope it doesn't look like that.  It has a fiberglass cowl on the back. The seat is white though. Cowl could be any color you want. I will maybe get some pics of what I have in a bit.

...And you should feel bad.  As there are so many derelicts that are much better suited to hacking up than an original bike in "cherry" condition.

It is your bike so have at it! If somebody wants to save it, make an offer you can't refuse!
