CB750F Giuliari Seat
« on: February 21, 2010, 03:35:47 PM »
Anybody have one of these or maybe pics of this seat on a bike?

I have had this NOS seat for a couple of years waiting for a bike to put it on. The right F has yet to come along.

Interesting. It almost looks like it would be suited for a 79 DOHC.
the duck tail reminds me of the old Porsche RSR tails.

I agree it looks like a 750 or 900F seat and tail most likely Giuliari. THough they made a similar one for CB400T that looks like a baby brother of the 900F

The picture was taken in my kitchen. It is for a sohc 750F and it is a Giuliari. No questions about that. I was just wondering if anyone had a picture of one on a finished bike.

I have not seen that style on a sohc. Pretty cool find.

Your avatar scares me a little bit...lol

It's meant to scare.

I bought the seat eBay Germany a couple of years ago. I liked the seat and figured I would find the bike someday. Its built really well with a metal pan and heavy duty fiberglass tail. I have almost been tempted to modify a 750K to run this seat.

Is there enough room in there to keep the tool compartment?

I wouldn't modify it for a K... F's are so easy to find, heck this spring you should be able to pick one up for less than the cost of the seat!

I wouldn't modify the seat, I'd modify the bike probably. Up until a month ago I had 9 750K's. Easier to mod one than to to buy another.

I've seen quite a few F's for sale just kind of forgot I had the seat to use on one.

Pretty sure I want to keep it. The white is kinda fu-fu but it grows on a person after a while.

With the right color scheme the white seat could set the bike off.  Well if you change your mind let me know...

Nice find!  Never seen one of those before.

I've got the same seat for my 750 with black leather, not as pristine as yours though. No pictures of it mounted as the bike is at a standstill due to having to title. I'd love to see it on a finished bike as well.

This was the seat for the 750F1/F2, but I didn't like the fit, so it was sold on.

That looks different than mine. I'm still pretty sure the one I have fits the F. I have had it sitting on a K and I think it fit the frame but the hinges were reversed. Its been a couple of years so I can't remember exactly.

I think that it's more likely to be from the CB750/900F series bikes looking at your tail unit...

I've set mine on my 78f, it fits perfectly. I promise you it's not made for the later model dohc 750f.

Hahnda, if you'd like, I can put my tank and seat on my 78f (still stock) so you can get an idea of what it would look like.

If you feel like it and its not to much trouble.

I have a K converted with F tank and seat by a previous owner. I could set the seat on there also but the bike is pretty ugly.

It would only take a minute to set the tank and seat on there. I'll be out in the garage anyways this weekend so I'll take a picture for you. Just be warned, it's not a pretty bike either.

Here's that picture I promised. It would look a lot better if the bike weren't a bucket but I think it still looks good.
