Got the GTX out, cleaned it up at the carwash and headed up to Fort Smith to take care of my Dad and to pick up Joey and Karla. As I got into Fort Smith, I came up beside a guy in a pickup truck with his window down (about 37 degrees outside) and then I see that he has his Camera/Cellphone out and is going to take pictures of the car. He smiles as I go by (I took my time, so he could get his pictures). Then just as I was getting by Breeden Dodge, a young guy in a NEW Challenger, pulled out and into the lane next to me. We ended up stopping at the stoplight, next to each other. He rolled his window down (so I did too) and wanted to know if it was a '69 and commented on how good it looked and all. I told hin that it WAS a '69, thanked him and then he asked if I wanted to trade.

I politely told him no, but I DID like the look and what I had heard about the new Challengers. Now, IF he would have been in one of those Challenger SRT8s, well, I don't know.

Naw, I sure do like having the ol' GTX to cruise in.

Then, I had to get Karla to a Doctor's appointment and while I was there (sitting out in the car waiting on her), there were at least 4 guys who commented on the car (one said he had a '69 hisself, that was a 440 6Barrel car) and one woman, who tilted her head and gave me a smile.

All in All, it's been a pretty good day.
Forgot to add that I've considered driving into the Dodge dealership and antagonize the salesmen, thinking I was going to stop and talk about trading.
