Any 500/550's out there with a Kerker pipe? I would like the OD measurement of the pipe on the megaphone side of where the four header pipes collect.
Thanks

This is the measurement from the Kerker 4:1 in my 750...... I know you asked about a 500/550, but...... 2 1/2 inches or 34mm
Cheers!

Thanks, that's the same diameter tubing on the pipe I had. However I cut the pipe just after the collector and used some smaller diameter stainless thin wall tubing to a GSXR 750 muffler. It worked out great.

I haven't had the engine running yet, but it looks pretty good if I do say so myself.

I have one of these on my '77 550F Bwaller, but I'm not sure exactly what you're asking.
I'd be happy to go measure it if you want. I can also prvide a pic.

It's ok guys, I've already altered this pipe. I was curious about the size of the Kerker pipe before I hacked this one up. I'll post a pic tomorrow.
Thanks again

Here's a couple pics of my new pipe. I cut it off just after the collector and cut & welded stainless tubing back to a stainless flange to accept the muffler.

That looks pretty slick. Do you have a pic of the whole bike with this installed?
