Hi Chris - I dont know if that article gives the guy's details but I do have that issue of Classic Racer and can dig it out for you if that would help. I'm away from home until next weekend, let me know if you want me to look it out when I get back.

Can you post a photo? Sounds interesting?  What does it change the look of the head? side covers on engine?

Or what issue of Classic racer was it in?

It could be this guy. www.budamotor.hu
Terry at team Hansen had some dealings with him a while ago. Or there is a guy in the UK that has a couple of his bikes, I can't recall his name offhand, but I think he works for Avon tyres. I'll see if I can find a name tomorrow.
Here are a few pics so long.

The bike in Classic racer is owned by John Chapman from the UK , I met him last year in Spa.
He is the one in blue shirt near the no. 4 Honda , does anyone know who is the other guy ?
They are build by Alustudio , I can't find a website of them.
But a friend of my knows the address I will ask him for that.

I got answer from my friend about the CBX replica's.
He will only mention the frontname of the man who build them , Ronald from Hungary.
A limited serie of 15 complete bikes were build , each bike has a number , all are sold.
No more of these bikes will be made , that say's the contract for the owners.
John Chapman owns two of them.

Here some pictures of number 10 from the serie.
