The Miocene Epoch
« on: March 21, 2010, 10:54:50 AM »
The Miocene epoch lasted 18 million years--ended 10 million years ago.
A time of transition, the end of the old prehistoric world
and the birth of the more recent sort of world.
A mako shark lost this tooth about that time in the ocean which is now
the Chesapeake Bay.
If you listen carefully you can hear the undersea life of that era talking to each other.

most everything he posts with these crazy sounds and zoom in's get me.  i have NO clue where they come from or what they're for....

i think he just found a cool zoom program and sound generator and he's playing with it   :D

The "zoom program" is Adobe Flash which also allows the addition of sound by way of
a Korg Kaoss Pad--assisted by a dynamic phase synthesizer.
I would suggest you don't encourage me!
