Float level?
« on: March 28, 2010, 07:13:37 PM »
What is the float level supposed to be set at for a 75 cb 750?  From what I can tell it is 26 mm from the lip of the carb.  The shop manual I have doesn't give any measurement as to what the level is they just show the tool to use.  I will be making one once I find out the measurements.  Did a search and couldn't fine the height maybe its a thoch subject?

You are correct...26mm as pictured below. And that 26mm is calculated with the carbs off the bike and tipped a bit on the side. You want the float tang to just put slight pressure on the valve nipple. That is where you take the measurement.
