Newbie. Where can I get a solenoid for a 75 cb550
« on: March 26, 2010, 03:12:39 PM »
The solenoid on my cb550 is dead. Where do I get a new, or used one from?

Thanks
Zack

You can take it apart and clean, file or sand the copper plates inside.  If it is broken you have nothing to loose.  I have done it years age, so try it, it is cheap, too.

Ebay.
or
fix it. they are simple. You should be able to pull it apart and flip over some of the contacts and a little sand paper and be good to go.
