finally i think ive found the problem!...after having the carbs off soo many times for cleaning them and so on...i think i could take off and put them back on in my sleep! anywho one pipe still isnt getting hot so i reved it up and killed it...then started looking at the plugs...the one that isnt getting hot was wet. so its almost a brand new plug but i guess it still could be the plug thats bad otherwise the coil...so since its just the one plug not firing could it be the wire or the actual coil im guessing wire...?

Could be the wire, plug cap, coil... swap the lead with the other cylinder on the same coil.  I think 1 & 4 and 2 & 3 share coils?

Kurlon is right about which cylinders share which plug.

Another thing you can do is with the plug out, put the plug back into the cap and hold it against the engine head and hit the starter (with the switch to on so it will spark, I also suggest removing a couple of the other plug wires so it can't start with the one plug out) and see if you get spark.

well i already new it wasnt sparking cuz it was wet, i just took the wire off from the coil and i had to trim some casing off of the wires so they were showing and it fires up now...still dont run very well...wont stay idling at all even if i warm it up couldnt take it out on the road yet cuz its raining/snowing :( i believe if i were to get the carbs synced it would run really well, anyone have a homemade carb sync they could show me how to make??

its not the spark plug, its not the plug wire, its not the coil, could it possibly be the spark advancer??
