What size is the adjusting sync nut on carbs?
« on: May 24, 2010, 12:17:38 PM »
Ok, i bought a MotionPro CarbSync.  Waste of money.

Looking at the CarbTune since the Euro is in my favor - http://www.carbtune.com/
 Hearing about $80 shipped.

See this sync nut/screw tool and an wondering what size it is - http://www.carbtune.co.uk/carbtool.html - It says it is 8mm.  What size are the four for the k5?  If it is the right size, have y'all used this and is it worth it?  I have not synced the carbs yet.
I don't have a motorcycle, sold it ('85 Yamaha Venture Royale).  Haven't had a CB750 for over 40 years.

I found that adjusting the slide height for synching was done easiest with bicycle cone wrenches for bicycle hubs.
