Seems that the young man that I work with through Bost, has been wanting to Stop coming over to my place, for a few months now AND his parents had been putting it off, in hopes of turning him around again. Anyway, it won't be immediately. But, it means that I have to go to Bost and see about getting someone else to work with and hope that I can get someone who mainly needs companionship and SOME assistance, but Not any Lifting. I am beyond doing the kind of lifting I used to do. This is really upsetting the apple cart. Getting someone else and getting used to a new schedule and the way of doing things with a different person, after working with one for over 10yrs. I just got that car and am getting back into the swing of getting my Dad's stuff finalized and now, THIS! Sure will be looking to thin things out some now! I had actually decided to NOT sell the GPZ1100, the SL350 or the Shelby Charger. NOW, I'm gonna have to take a serious look at what I want to keep and getting rid of the rest. This REALLY SUCKS! He almost made it a whole year after Brenda passing away! Almost! So much has changed since then. At least I still have my Daughter, a few friends AND you all.

Bill, I interpret your post in a positive way.  It sounds like your association with this chap has been successful and now he is ready to move on.  That's success and a credit to you!

Yeah, seems like I've been getting some "Hanging In There Time For SOME time now. Thing is, I'm just about ready to "Blow a Gasket!" Doing my best NOT to and just MOVE ON, but I've been getting up a Full Head Of Steam and don't know how much longer I can do this. I've been taught to do the right thing, by my Parents and I've always tried to do just that. Just seems like, as time goes on, there are SO MANY who DON'T do the right thing and sure put pressure on ME!

I AM still working on just keeping on though.

Definitely appreciate THAT too! 8)  Yesterday, I woke up with a terrific cramp in a muscle on the left side of my neck and had to battle THAT all day and last night. Tried hot compresses on it and got some relief for a little while, each time. Could not look to the right and not much to the left. When I did make much movement at all, that muscle would nearly bring me to my knees! Called Doctor's office and they took their sweet time getting back to me. I've had this once before, about 35 - 40yrs ago and it WILL bring tears to your eyes, it hurts so bad. We had a heating pad and one of those blue things that you can either put in the microwave or freezer, to give the relief you need, but could NOT find EITHER one! ::) Took my Daughter to WalMart to get a couple of microwave dinners (she wanted to do them for me) and I asked her to get another one of those blue things (not sure what you call them) that you can heat up with the microwave and she came out with a thing that goes around your neck and massages with or without heat. I really didn't want or need anything that elaborate. Have to give her credit for trying (gotta remember that my Daughter is 32yrs old, yet mentally, she's less than half that. God Love her though, she has a BIG heart and does her best to take care of her Dad!) Anyway, after a couple of sessions with that massager last night AND one this morning. The tension in that muscle has lessened, allowing me the ability to move my head around some, with out pain. I'd have gone to the emergency room, but you spend hours just sitting there waiting JUST to be SEEN! ALSO, the Doctor's office finally called last night at about 6:45PM and were sending a prescription to the drug store. Only thing IS, the Drug Store Closed at 6:30PM! ::)

At any rate, it sure feels good to be able to move my head somewhat and get up and down, without feeling the pain of that muscle knotting up!

Well, I got a call from Bost this afternoon. It seems that my last day with him was TODAY! Fantastic, the Clients (which HE is) get a 2 week notice when a worker wants to change. BUT, IF a WORKER wants to Change (or GET'S changed) there is NO time frame. Mater of fact, I was informed by his Dad this morning, that the kids Mother was going to take him would take him to the Graduation Ceremonies and therefore would be picking him up from Bost. So, I LOST FIVE hours there. He gets off at Bost, at 2PM and the Graduation  thing was probably at 6 or 7PM. These people were SUPPOSED to be MORE than work related. OH What Ever! It means that I have to note my needs and go in to see the coordinator and see what we came come up with for me. They are going to get a wakeup call, because I was doing things that MOST Bost workers wouldn't even consider. Example: We (Brenda and I) were in Fort Smith doing some shopping one day (about 15-20miles from home) and got a call from the kid's Dad. Seems the kid had a migraine headache and he needed him to be picked up from school. We STOPPED what WE were doing, went to the school in Greenwood, picked him up, took him to our home and took care of him. We were ALWAYS available, like being on call 24/7. Got a call once, that the kid was driving his Dad up the wall and he needed a break. I went over, picked him up and kept him for a few hours so that his Dad could relax and unwind. We were ALWAYS doing things like that.

Well, I have to make a list of MY requirements as far as hours I can work and such, take that list to Bost tomorrow and try to find someone else that I can work with, not that I don't have Joey any more. Guess you could say that I am a bit (actually MORE than a bit) put out by how this has turned out. Over the years, we bent over backwards to help him AND, to help his parents. There had been times that his Dad would call me and say that HE need a break from Joey, could we take care of him for a few hours? AND, we always went and got him. He and I used to hit ALL of the car shows in the area, took him to the Diamond Mine (Arkansas), Little Rock Zoo, took him to the Drive Through Zoo at Gentry Arkansas, took him with us when we went to West Memphis to meet up with jtb (John), to get the Jawa engine that the guys shuffled from Florida to Georgia and then to me. Took him to the the Drive Through Caverns at Springfield MO. I can even think of ALL of the places we took him. We didn't use our leave time for vacation, we used that for when we wouldn't have either James or Joey. But, that's History now. I'll be turning in my last time sheet with him on there, tomorrow. In a years time, we went from "Brenda, Karla, James, Joey & Me",
to Karla, Joey, & Me and finally to Karla & Me. Going to be difficult to get settled back in with another person (or 2) and, at this point in MY life, I'm not sure I have the patience. Seems like I get on edge, so easy any more. :-\
