350f brake light problems
« on: May 25, 2010, 07:32:56 PM »
My 73 350f was rewired by the previous owner into a cafe style 2 light under the seat brake lights.  I love them although I have been told by the cops there illegal most don't seem to care.  Anyways I replaced both bulbs this year, and I just noticed that one isnt working correctly.  When I turn the bike on both brake lights are on, however as soon as I use either the front or rear brake the light dies.  Any ideas?  Thanks

if they were working before they will work now.
go thru and check all your connections.

did you use the same bulbs, or switch to LED's?

I had an LED in and it worked, but I replaced with a traditional bulb.

check the voltage at your battery....probably is low.
does your brake light work if you are at 5000+RPM's...if so..youve got a bad/low battery
