Can you ID these boots?
« on: May 27, 2010, 02:42:36 PM »
I'm still on the hunt for the right riding boots.  Something that isn't too commando (yes, I'll be wearing underwear  ;D ), something that isn't too modern (and uncharacteristic for my '75 Cb750 cafe) . . .  yada, yada yada.

So, I saw this youtube video of the new CB1100, and I noticed this guy's boots.  I don't recognize them, but I'm dumb.  Maybe you know them.

You see a good shot of them at the 3:42 mark:

Can't say exactly, but they look a little like Chippewa boots.

All I can say it is definitely a motorcycle boot, and brown (which I like!).  Looks sharp.  $$$, I'd bet.

I just wear Ariat lace up ropers much of the time.

HA!  I paid that for my bike, too!  I'm going to try to check out some Chippewa boots this weekend, if I can find any in town.

If you're in Houston, I'm sure you can find some in town.  And I definitely recommend them.  I've had a pair for several years now, and they're very comfortable and well-made, not the same style as pictured, but similar.
