Found this on the tank seam about 24 hours after putting gas in the tank. There's a similar blister toward the front of the tank, too.
I have some RedKote. Looks like I'll give it a shot and see how well it works.
I cleaned the inside tank prior to painting, but I have some very fine, powdery rust residue in there. The local radiator shops either can't be bothered to clean it or say it'll ruin the paint. They told me that it's OK to use the RedKote over the fine, powdery rust. Thoughts?
