good place to buy new chain & sprockets?
«

Where's a good place to get a new chain and sprocket for my 76 cb750f? I've seen a few parts stores that sell them in the UK but I'm in California and would rather not pay all that shipping.
Thanks.

Check here in the FAQ, then scroll down to chains & sprockets

I like to at least look in the dennis kirk catalogue. When you find what your bike came with you go to pricing and you can see what else fits so you can play with the gearing.

Which budget chains and sprockets would you recommend for the 76 cb750F? Are there different widths to worry about or do I just count the links?
thanks again.

Dont go cheap on a chain. If it breaks, it is your ass and whatever other body parts scrape on the ground as you biff it. You dont need an o-ring chain but do not get a cheap chinese chain or sprockets.
