Are these *REALLY* worth this much

I've just been a browsing on ebay and seen these handle bars.

For fun I looked on Partsfish at new Honda handlebars.  The parts lists only go down to a 1976 "K" model, and the bars look a bit higher than those British "platinum" ones.  But the 750 SS bars look the same.  Regardless, the price for every 750 bar for any year and model seems to be $66.68 (US).

It's funny sometimes, how prices go on ebay.

Those look like standard low-rise 400F bars that were often fitted to Euro 500/550 and 750s.  They sell new on DSS for 26 pounds or about 40 bucks US.

"Sandcast", :o oh come on!!!! :o I can understand paying top prices for rare castings and plastics (well almost), but a bent bit of chromed steel is still a bent bit of chromed steel.

 ;D BTW just bought a complete F2 today, if I sell the handle bars it's payed for itself.  ;D

H*ll, that's what I paid (on Ebay!) for the 400F that's nearly finished

(I reuse to say how much more I've lavished on it over the last 6/12 - the wife may have me on CCTV again!

Well, gee- you guys don't seem to be taking into account that it comes with a grip.

I can't say anything- I just sold a pair of Albert bar-ends for $220.  Not as bad as those bars, but still pretty nuts.  I felt guilty and shipped them for free.

Thought I might jump on the band-wagon with these bars...Mmmm..probably won't sell as there is a pair on eBay for $7..Will see what happens..could be interesting..
