I posted this in the humor section... but I'm a little depressed at the moment. Watch this and so will you.  :-[

Great ending though!

It was funny at first but I agree, it started getting depressing.

The other day, prior to start of a bike show, they played the National Anthem. Almost a third of the people kept talking and walking and etc. oblivious to it and of the two thirds who did acknowledge it, only about 10% put their hand over their heart. WTF ! These people have no clue as to what has been sacrificed for them to even be here. Need to get back to basics and get them a quick education on this country of ours.

What scares me is that these people are allowed to vote.

Sad, scary and disgraceful that people don't know the most basic things about our nation!  New imigrants know more that the average Joe that was born here.  Seems people now days are more interested in Lindsy Lohan and other stupid things and what Paris Hilton had for breakfast.

Just got back from Mid Ohio. On Sat. before the racing started, they played the Star Spangled Banner. The whole place came to a stop, it was inspiring...

i'm not ashamed to admit i get choked up every time i hear our anthem. when i see kids take their hat off at a game for the singing of it i'm optimistic of our future.

not to have some knowledge of our history is inexcusable and schools are only partly to blame; i was a terrible student and most of what i know i learned on my own.

I guess they had a young girl singing it....not too bad.... but over in the swap shop area....song was 1/3 of the way through before most stopped what they were doing...... and even then, some were just going on ...riding their bike somewhere (might not of heard music over their exhaust noise). So I agree somewhat, both good and bad. Still, a lot of people will stop, but how many remove their hats and cover their heart with their hat or hand?

Our town had their annual festival parade over the weekend.  The lead of the parade is always a police car immediately followed by the Color Guard in full dress uniforms.  It annoys me that only half (if that) of the people sitting curb side got on their feet as the colors passed.
