Dear SOHCers

Amongst my 750 parts pile is an RC Engineering inlet manifold with WEBER DCOE 40 carbs....the RC part is A TOP QUALITY casting in what seems to be an alloy of sorts.

The carbs are in poor shape, but fixable.

Please guys,an honest idea of what the manifold is worth.....

Ive been around CB750s for 34 years now......Ive only ever seen one of these RC kits in the flesh as it were in all these years.

Im kinda lazy these days and a set of stockers is easier to set up..so,sell up or knucle down and fix em up and bolt on horses..?

Any comments would be useful...

Thanks.....and......safe rides all.

Put it on ebay and see. Without the carbs it's not worth that much IMO. Maybe 100.00 but ebay is crazy sometimes.

I'm building a 1400cc well 1380cc motor right now and would give you 200 for the manifold. I was going to supercharge it but the guy I'm buying the motor off of wants way to much for the blower. I think DCOE's would be the best carb set up for the motor.

Sorry,  and thanks for keep me in check. The Army turned me into an #$%* who thinks he is better then everyone else. Which tends to make me gloat a little more then I should for no reason. I think thats also why I'm negative on karma points.

Also I have no one to talk to about my project. My friends don't care cause they all ride liter bikes.  My girlfriend is sick of hearing about my CB  she put a lock on the bedroom door and makes me sleep in the living room so I can't go in there at two in the morning to show her what I just won on ebay and she doesn't ask whats in the box anymore when the ups guy comes to avoid and hour long explanation of what exactly is in the box.

My wife still gets excited every time there's a new package delivered, and every time she's disappointed when it's just "more motorcycle parts  :'(".  I don't think she'll ever learn, but that's fine. :)
