Oh yeah, I've decided to use springs to hold the exhaust on to the cilinderhead.
Already got me some parts to hook them on to.
There will be a kind of hook welded on the exhaust, pictures will follow.

Hi Sam,
Can't hide anything from you.
Today the exhaust is melted together on a few points and tryed on again.
Looked good.
Made the eyes where the spring will be hooked on to keep the exhaust in place.
Hopefully tomorrow these parts wil be welded.
Then there is an flange to be made for the exact positioning of the exhaust on the cilinderhead.

Now a flange for centering the exhaust to the cilinderhead is to be made.
Outside 40 mm, inside 38 and 36 mm.
Then the springs can be mounted to see how it looks.

HI,
Today the fairing is mounted so that I could see how it all fits.
It's looking good, just a small piece has to be removed from the fairing.

That work you are doing looks very good.. I like the werkmanship..
Have you been hanging around with Mec , perhaps..??
I like what you did to hold the head end of the spring, I just cringe when I see holes drilled in the head..

Hi 754,
Thanx for your replay.
I didn't want to drill a hole in the cilinderhead. This is more like it.
To bad I have little time these days but I hope to be able to work on it next week and show some more parts.
Keep you posted.

Thank you Franken, I'll come to the exhaust later.
Hey Jim, With the headlight in "set off" the fairing can be mounted with the centre bracket.
And then the rear will need a light.
Starting with the seat

At first led's where planned for the rear.
light-weight and little power needed.
But very futuristic.

But then I decided to make it look more old-school.

Making holes and filling them in. Somtimes it is necessary to find your vision by.....finding what you dont like. I have been doing this to my bike for longer than I would like to admit.
This thing is a race bike, so just call them "speed holes".

51 mm in diameter is the light's refelector.
This needed a 'Speed'-hole in the rear.

And in the end it looks like this.
Still think I will change it a little in the near future.
