Making holes and filling them in. Somtimes it is necessary to find your vision by.....finding what you dont like. I have been doing this to my bike for longer than I would like to admit.

This thing is a race bike, so just call them "speed holes".

And while the smaller parts are being produced I've taken some time to work on the engine.
I'm removing the starterunit from the enginecase.

Any updates?

I like what I see so far.

Would like to learn more details about exactly how the exhaust pipe fits into the exhaust port. I know it's held tight against the head with springs, but why not use the original flange that was on the pipe?

Things have been oke, and the build is still going but not as quick as I wish.

Rearbrake is installed and working
It's really small but it brakes well.

Hi there,

It's been a while but it's still going on.
After the fairing, tank and seat where mounted it was time to change de generator.
The original is much to wide for the CR-fairing.
At first I wanted to make the original rotor slimmer and reshape the generator-cover.

After some cutting and fitting it looked like the right way.
It fitted well and weight was coming down.

But it soon became obviuos that this plan wasn't going to work.
The rotor is still too big and the cover still doesn't fit in the fairing.
Also the original rotor is more than 3 kilo

I know there are kits for sale for a race generator but 800 euro is not what I've planned.
And as I want to ride the bike with head- en rearlights it will need a bit more power.

So a smaller and modern generator had to be bought.
To fit it on the crank it needed a few hours of work.

Also the cover had to be a one off a kind.
The groudcover is machined but everything else will be handmade.
