Sounds like the idle mixture is off to me. Make sure the idle mixture screws are set, and if the problem persists after that, try adjusting the setting from there a half turn in or out and see if that helps.

Could also be the the carbs need cleaning if that doesn't help.

+1...and also, do you have pods or stock air box? could also be a vacuum leak (check your air filter rubber hose connections to the carbs)

I have stock air box and already adjusted the screws.  I opened up the carbs the other day and they are pretty clean.  Its running alot better lately. I think the problem was the guy i bought it from had blocked the drain lines from the box and the fuel was collecting a little every time after rides.  I opened it, cleaned it, let it air out and put some lines on. I think the fumes were not letting enough air to mix in, i guess i will just see how she runs and hope she keeps running strong. thanks guys

there is drain tube that comes off the air box and that chamber box that the guy i bought it from had pluged up.  So any moisture or fluids would just collect, which in turn, suffercated the bike because it was sucking in fumes and moisture and would die out.

Carb bowl fuel level to high on one or more carbs, particularly, if it has been putting gas into the air plenum or oil sump.
